Caleb (they/them) is a Seattle-based composer, arranger, and music collaborator with a thriving national practice. Currently in high demand by community orchestras, professional bands, and high school and university marching bands across the country alike, they are sought after for fresh, idiomatic arrangements and original concert works.

A versatile creator for both the screen and the stage, Caleb earned their Bachelor’s in Music Theory and Composition from Southern Illinois University Carbondale (2019) and their Master’s in Music for Film and Digital Media from the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program (2020). Since 2022, Caleb has been a regular musical contributor to Reel One Entertainment (a Lifetime films production company), working as music supervisor, editor, and additional music writer across more than a dozen feature films — one of several ongoing screen and media projects that keep them busy in the studio. Their work in interactive media has likewise spanned a range of platforms, including composing immersive soundscapes and scores for read-along books with the Seattle start-up Novel Effect.

Caleb’s recent compositional highlights include writing the theme for the Seattle Kraken Broadcast Network and winning the prestigious Queer Big Apple Composition Competition 2025—a testament to their distinctive, inclusive voice.

Their work as an arranger spans the full spectrum of American ensemble music: professional symphony orchestras, nationally-recognized bands, brass collectives, and community organizations alike have brought Caleb's arrangements to life. As an orchestrator and copyist, they've supported major ensembles and award-winning film composers, working behind the scenes on projects that reach audiences internationally.

An active brass musician, Caleb currently performs with several Seattle ensembles, including Bad Weather Brass. They direct the Emerald City Horn Choir and the Reign City Riot sports band for Seattle Reign FC, and founded Cinematic Brass—a virtual brass ensemble whose performances have been featured in music libraries, commercials, and television. Whether on the podium, in the recording studio, or at their writing desk, Caleb brings a collaborative energy and a commitment to music that speaks to our time.
