Caleb (they/them) is a Seattle-based composer, arranger, and music collaborator. They received their Bachelor's of Music in Music Theory and Composition from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2019 and their Master's of Music for Film and Digital Media from the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program at SFI in the summer of 2020. Since 2022 they have acted as music supervisor, editor, and additional music writer for nearly a dozen feature films for Reel One Entertainment, a Lifetime films production company. Caleb also served as a composer and soundscape designer for Novel Effect, a Seattle start-up, writing soundscapes for several books for the read-along app.
A couple of Caleb's most recent composition achievements have been writing the theme for Seattle Kraken's "Kraken Broadcast Network" and winning the Queer Big Apple Composition Competition 2025.
Caleb's arrangements have been performed nationally by a large variety of ensembles including the Colorado and Baltimore symphonies, Brass Animals of New Orleans, and the President's Own Army Band Wind Quintet. As a music collaborator, they have worked as a transcriber, orchestrator, and copyist for several prestigious ensembles, such as the Gay Men's Chorus of Los Angeles, as well as internationally-renowned artists and composers such as Steve Hackman and Mark Kilian.
Caleb is also a seasoned brass musician, currently performing with several ensembles throughout the Seattle area. They are the current director for the Emerald City Horn Choir and Seattle Reign FC's Reign City Riot sports band and the founder for Cinematic Brass, a virtual brass ensemble whose performances have been featured in music libraries, commercials, and television.
